Events: International Forum on Maqasid al-Shari’ah and Human Common Good

On December 5th, six scholars will come together for the “International Forum on Maqasid al-Shari’ah As a Framework For The Pursuit of Human Common Good” in the first collaboration between Maqasid Institute and an agency affiliated with the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM).

The online forum, organized by the International Institute For Muslim Unity, features scholars with diverse academic backgrounds and different professional careers. They will discuss how Maqasid al-Shari’ah provides a universal framework for the pursuit of human common good.

Half of the forum speakers represent MI. They are Dr.Jasser Auda, MI President, Dr.Azman Hussin, MI Malaysia Chairman and Board Member, and Dr.Sabrina Lei, Director of Tawasul Center in Italy, a MI affiliate.

MI collaborates with several educational institutions around the world.
