Contribute to the Maqasidi Blog

The Maqasid Institute (MI) invites researchers, authors, and thinkers to contribute to a dynamic platform dedicated to exploring contemporary issues through the lens of Maqasid Al-Wahy and the Islamic worldview.

Our Mission & Voice

We seek content that is fundamentally rooted in the purposes of the Revelation (Maqasid Al-Wahy). Our editorial voice emphasizes an integrated and interconnected perspective, bridging the gap between classical methodology and the complexities of the modern world. We value submissions that move beyond isolated rulings toward a holistic understanding of divine intent.

We encourage interdisciplinary contributions that apply Maqasid methodology to pressing social, economic, and political challenges. We prioritize articles within these four domains:

  • Usuli Studies: Methodological foundations and theoretical frameworks.
  • Disciplinary Studies: Applications within specific fields (e.g., Economics, Law, Education).
  • Phenomena Studies: Analyzing specific contemporary trends or global events.

Strategic Studies: Forward-thinking solutions and long-term civilizational planning.

To ensure a smooth editorial process, please adhere to the following standards:

  • Word Count: Articles should range between 1,000 and 1,500 words.
  • Originality: We only accept original, unpublished works.
  • Referencing: Please use APA-style for all citations and references.
  • File Format: Submissions must be saved as a Word Document (.doc or .docx) using the naming convention: Name_Title_Date.

Formatting: Use clear subheadings and concise paragraphs to improve digital readability.

By submitting your manuscript, you confirm that the work is original and adheres to the Maqasid Institute’s editorial guidelines. You also grant our editorial team permission to review and contact you regarding the status of your submission and future contribution opportunities.
