SUMMARY:Discovering Divine Universal Laws: Lecture 4 on Ecological Colonisation
DESCRIPTION:The “Discovering Divine Universal Laws through the Qur’an and Cosmos” Free Lecture Series continues with Lecture 4: Ecological Colonisation. This session examines the colonial mindset that actively disrupts the mizan (balance) established by the Divine in creation. We will trace the roots of this disruption from early Western expansion right through to the mechanisms of present-day ecological settler colonisation\, exploring how this mindset has consistently dispossessed peoples and lands\, exploited natural resources\, altered ecosystems\, and drastically reshaped cultural narratives worldwide. \nThrough compelling case studies and rigorous critical analysis\, this lecture will address several pivotal issues: the primary role of colonisation in resource extraction; the calculated use of “conservation” policies as a tool for dispossession; and the deep persistence of colonial legacies in modern governance. Furthermore\, we will investigate the pervasive influence of Hollywood\, media\, and corporate power in perpetuating this destructive worldview. The session promises to uncover the realities behind “greenwashing\,” expose the hidden agendas of global NGOs\, and detail the continuing patterns of ecological settler colonisation\, particularly in Africa and Palestine. \nBy the conclusion of the lecture\, participants will be fully equipped to recognize and challenge the language\, policies\, and practices that perpetuate environmental injustice. The goal is to envision and implement approaches rooted in justice\, ethical stewardship\, and the foundational Qur’anic principle of mizan. \nDate: Saturday\, December 6 \nTime: 3:00 PM (Makkah Time) \nCLICK HERE TO REGISTER

SUMMARY:Created to Prosper: Civilizational Progress towards Hayat Al-Tayyibah
