It explores Maqasid both as a Shariah-based methodology for legal reasoning and as a broader intellectual framework for: \n\n\nReforming Muslim thought. \n\n\nUnderstanding reality. \n\n\nResponding to contemporary challenges. \n\n\nSheikh Fazwee Nawaz\nSheikh Fazwee Nawaz is a graduate of Islamic Studies from Naleemiah Institute of Islamic Studies\, Sri Lanka\, and holds a degree in Social Sciences from the Open University of Sri Lanka.
